  26. Silicon Graphics announced the following:

  28. 1.  Indy, SGI's first under-$5,000 workstation--The R4000-based Indy
  29.     is aimed at bringing multimedia to the commercial desktop; includes
  30.     3D graphics and "IndyCam" camera.
  31.  
  32. 2.  Indigo2 XL entry-level addition to the Indigo2 line--The Indigo2
  33.     system, introduced 1/93, is based on 50-MHz version of R4000 MIPS
  34.     processor with new 64-bit bus and fast SCSI-II.
  35.  
  36. 3.  Indigo2 XZ midrange addition to the Indigo 2 line--This is an
  37.     entry-level workstation "not to exceed" $17,995 with 16-MB memory,
  38.     535-MB disk, 16-inch color monitor and DAT quality audio.
